Padre Giambattista Martini was one of the dominating musical personalities of the 18thcentury. His correspondence with musicians from all of Europe's most important courts and music centers illumines the musical life of his time. Until now no attempt has been made to index translate and annotate his correspondence housed in the Civico Musco Bibliographico Musicale in Bologna. This archive consists of 5878 entries in all over five thousand letters to him from almost one thousand persons and more than six hundred drafts of his answers.
Anne Schoebelen:

Currently she is finishing an online bibliography of Italian prints of the Mass and office from 1520-1750 with colleague Jeffrey Kurtzman to be published on-line in the Journal of Seventeeth-Century Music.
